The Houston Texans have met with offensive lineman Joe Thuney at the East-West Shrine game. Thuney played offensive tackle for the Wolfpack in 2015 and garnered first-team All American honors from USA Today, which marked the first offensive lineman to be selected as an All-American since 1979.

Thuney was also named first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection at the end of the 2015 season. The 6-5 and 295 lbs. offensive lineman finished ACC play without giving up a sack the entire season. A first-team Academic All-ACC performer in 2014, Thuney was the first Wolfpack offensive lineman to earn first-team all-conference honors since 2003.

Thuney played both guard and tackle for the Wolfpack giving him the versatility that the Texans like to see in their players.
