Jeff Allen Signs a 4-Year Deal With the Houston Texans

The Houston Texans have signed former Kansas City Chiefs offensive guard Jeff Allen.

To replace the departed Brandon Brooks, the Houston Texans shifted their focus to Kansas City Chiefs offensive guard, Jeff Allen. Allen was signed to a four-year deal for $28 million. $14 million of that was guaranteed.

Allen was drafted in the 2012 NFL draft in the second round (44th overall) out of Illinois. Allen has appeared in 32 games, starting 28.

Jeff Allen will help plug the hole left by Brooks' departure and will be an immediate starter for the 2016 Texans offensive line
