With pro days winding down heading into the NFL draft, the Houston Texans will start private workouts, bringing prospects in for visits to NRG Stadium. The Texans will be taking a closer look at Mississippi State defensive end, Ryan Brown, with a one of their thirty allotted visits to for the team.
Brown (6’5", 266 lbs.) spent four seasons with the Bulldogs and amassed 106 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks. In 2015, Brown started all 12 games at defensive end and totaled 39 tackle, eight tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. He led the defense with 10 quarterback hurries and played the final five games of the season with a stress fracture in his right foot.
Brown is just getting over his foot injury and teams are now aiming to find out more information on what he could bring to the table. With his injury status, teams will be working hard to find out more about him before draft time arrives.
