With the Houston Texans looking for more offensive help, they will be taking a closer look at California tight end, Stephen Anderson. The Texans are set to meet with Anderson prior to the start of the NFL draft. Anderson played tight end in college but has a skill set that could possibly translate to wide receiver.
Anderson (6’2", 230 lbs.) finished his career with the Golden Bears with 101 receptions for 1,260 yards and 7 touchdowns. Appearing in 37 games with 25 starts, he garnered All-Pac 12 honors his junior and senior seasons. His final season, he played in all 13 games and had 41 receptions for 474 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Anderson was a participant in the 2016 NFL Combine.
