The Houston Texans Re-Sign Brandon Weeden

The Houston Texans have re-signed Brandon Weeden to a two-year deal.

The Houston Texans have re-singed free agent quarterback Brandon Weeden to a two-year deal worth $4 million. This adds Weeden to a pack depth chart at the quarterback position joining Brock Osweiler, Tom Savage and Brian Hoyer.

For the Houston Texans in 2015, Weeden appeared in two games and threw for 305 yards and three touchdowns. He was instrumental in wins over the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans to pick up key wins in the 2015 playoff race.

With Weeden now signed with the Texans, it more than likely ends Hoyer’s time with the Texans.
