One of the more dominant college wide receivers in the game the past two season at Colorado State, Rashard Higgins, met with the Houston Texans at his pro day last month. Higgins has caught 31 touchdown over the past three seasons with the Rams.
The Mesquite, TX, native had a break out 2014 season, which saw him haul in 96 receptions for 1,750 yards and 17 touchdowns, averaging 18.2 yards per reception. Higgins averaged 145.8 yards per game his junior season and he was the first Rams football player since 1995 to be named consensus 1st-team All-American. In 2015, Higgins had 75 receptions for 1,062 yards and 8 touchdowns, which led him to declare early for the NFL Draft.
At 6'1" and 196 lbs., Higgins ran a 4.55-4.57 forty-yard dash at his pro day, improving his time from the NFL Combine.
