Texans Tracker: Jared Crick Signs With the Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos have signed former Houston Texans defensive end Jared Crick two a 2-year contract.

The Houston Texans have lost defensive end Jared Crick to the Denver Broncos. Crick will be re-united with his former coach and current Broncos head coach in Gary Kubiak, defensive coordinator Wade Phillips and defensive line coach Bill Kollar. 

Crick appeared in 63 games for the Texans starting 32 the past three seasons. With 146 total tackles, 5.5 sacks and 13 passes defenses, Crick started the past two seasons for the Texans at defensive end. 

The loss of Crick will open up an immediate need at the defensive end spot for the defense. J.J. Watt, Dan Pettinato, Devon Still and Jeoffrey Pagan are the current defensive ends on the roster. 

Crick was drafted in 4th round (126th overall) out of Nebraska in the 2012 NFL Draft.
