Illinois' Geronimo Allison Visits the Houston Texans

The Houston Texans hosted Illinois wide receiver Geronimo Allison.

Illinois wide receiver, Geronimo Allison, visited the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium, according to sources. Allison played two seasons with the Illini after spending two seasons at Iowa Western. 

In 2015, Allison appeared in 12 games and caught 65 passes for 882 yards with three touchdowns. Averaging 13.6 yards per reception, Allison was one of the Illini’s go-to receivers. 

Allison (6'3", 196 lbs.), was invited to the NFL Combine and posted solid numbers, running a 4.67 forty-yard dash, 33" vertical, and 10’07” broad jump. Allison bested all of those times at the Illinois’ pro day,  running a 4.56 forty yard dash and 34 1/2" vertical. 

Allison is considered a late round prospect heading into the NFL Draft.
