The Houston Texans have held a private workout with cornerback from Florida Atlantic, Cre’von LeBlanc. Leblanc also has a pre-draft visit set up with the San Diego Chargers.
At 5-9 and 194 lbs., LeBlanc was praised by former FAU head coach Carl Pelini, who praised LeBlanc’s versatility to cover in man or zone and help in the run game from the secondary. LeBlanc was FAU’s defensive MVP and earned All-Conference USA honors for his solid 2015 season for the Owls.
Appearing in 43 games over four seasons with the Owls, Leblanc had 180 total tackles with six interceptions and 19 pass breakups. In his final season, Leblanc had 43 total tackles with 4 interceptions and 11 pass deflections.
At FAU’s pro day, LeBlanc posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.65 seconds, a vertical of 34 inches, broth jump of 9 feet, 6 inches and ran the short shuttle in 4.16 seconds.
