The Houston Texans have worked out USC cornerback, Kevon Seymour, according to sources with close knowledge of the workouts. Seymour also had a private workout with the Indianapolis Colts and has met with the Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins, and San Francisco 49ers.
Seymour (5'11", 186 lbs.) was invited to the NFL Combine and ran a 4.39 forty-yard dash which was 5th best time posted by a cornerback at the event. Seymour also had a vertical jump of 35 inches and a broad jump of 124 inches.
In 2015, Seymour missed time but appeared in 11 games and totaled 18 tackles with one interceptions and a pass deflection. His best season with the Trojans came in 2014, where he started his second straight season at cornerback and led the team with 13 pass deflection. Seymour also had 49 tackles and an interception on the season.
Seymour has the physical tools to make a NFL roster but is going to have to improve his physical play on the field.
