Eastern Kentucky's Noah Spence Visits the Houston Texans

Eastern Kentucky defensive end Noah Spence Visits the Houston Texans for a pre-draft meeting.

The Houston Texans hosted Eastern Kentucky defensive end, Noah Spence, at NRG Stadium, according to reports. At 6’2" and 251 lbs., Spence is considered one of the top edge presences in the NFL Draft and would more than likely convert to outside linebacker in a 3-4 defensive scheme.

Spence comes with some red flags. After being selected a 1st-team All-Big 10 selection for Ohio State in 2013, he failed two drug tests. After entering rehab, Spence opted to transfer to Eastern Kentucky to get his degree and get his life back on track.

Spence, while at Eastern Kentucky, had 63 total tackles with 22.5 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks, along with 15 quarterback hits. His big season for the Colonels led to Spence being selected as an FCS All-American

This is an interesting pre-draft visit for the Texans, especially give the position for which Spence projects at the NFL level.
