Eastern Michigan Running Back Darius Jackson Visits the Texans

The Houston Texans have hosted Eastern Michigan's Darius Jackson in a pre-draft visit.

The Houston Texans continue to interview prospects prior to the start of the NFL draft and they hosted Eastern Michigan running back Darius Jackson at NRG Stadium. Jackson is one of thirty pre-draft visits the Texans are allowed to conduct by the NFL. 

At Eastern Michigan, Jackson appeared in 12 games rushing for 1,078 yards and 14 touchdowns while catching 21 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns. Averaging 106.6 yard from scrimmage a game this past season, Jackson at 6-0 and 220 lbs., is considered a well-round back. 

Jackson was selected to the 2015 All-MAC Conference third team and was also selected to participate in the 2016 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. 

At Eastern Michigan’s pro day, Jackson ran a 4.4 forty-yard dash with 20 bench reps, 11’1” broad jump and a 41” vertical jump.
