Deflategate Fallout: Texans To Miss Tom Brady In Week Three

The Houston Texans landed a small favor from the United States Appeals court who reinstated Tom Brady's four-game suspension to open up the 2016 season.

In the most recent Deflate Gate news concerning New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, an appeals court ruled in favor of the NFL and upheld the 4-game suspension levied on him for tampering with footballs.

This is important for the Texans because the two teams are scheduled to play during week three at NRG Stadium. The absence of Brady could prove important for AFC playoff seeding much later in the season.

Brady has feasted on the Texans, posting a 66.3% completion rate throwing for 1,556 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. In those six games, the Patriots are 5 and 1, with the only loss coming in week 17 of the 2009 season.

No Brady will mean that Jimmy Garoppolo will more than likely be the starter and the Texans, like all NFL teams will take advantage of anything to get a win. Brady will miss games against Arizona, Miami, Houston, and Buffalo.

The NFLPA could still appeal to the NFL to possibly get his suspension reduced to two games, which means his first game WOULD be against the Texans in week three.

Stay tuned.....
