The Houston Texans Waive Rookie Eric Lee

The Houston Texans continue their roster shuffling and release rookie Eric Lee.

The Houston Texans continue their roster movement heading into OTAs and will waive rookie outside linebacker Eric Lee. Lee was one of sixteen rookie free agents signed by the Texans. Lee had a good showing at rookie mini-camp but with the recent signing of Ryan Langford, Lee's time was up with Langford moving to outside linebacker.

Lee was waived with "failure to disclose a physical condition" designation.

Lee played his college football at USF where he as a team captain and selected all-conference. Starting 12 games, Lee had 45 total tackles, with 12 tackles for loss and five sacks. The release of Lee puts the Texans back to 89 signed players heading to OTAs. This will be one of many roster moves the Texans will make heading to the start of the season.
