2016 Houston Texans Player Profile: Max Bullough

A closer look at the Houston Texans roster heading into the 2016 training camp.

Brought on as a rookie free agent two seasons ago, Max Bullough is solidifying his spot with the team. Second on the Texans in 2015 with 14 special teams tackles, Bullough is also a solid spot-filler at inside linebacker. Considered one of the smartest players on the defense, Bullough has impressed the coaching staff with his hard work mentality.

The Rundown

The Texans need a third player behind the starters to fill in and to know both spots. Bullough was used last season to give breaks to Brian Cushing and Benardrick McKinney when needed and he held his own. Sitting out majority of the off-season, Bullough is expected to be a full go when camp arrives.

Roster Situation

Top special teams player for the Texans and knows the defense well. Should be on the 53-man roster.
