Rundown

Late in the preseason of 2015, the Texans made a last minute trade to land veteran tackle Chris Clark. Clark arrived to the Texans the final week of the preseason and appeared in the final game versus the Dallas Cowboys. Clark got playing time in some important games, especially due to Duane Brown’s injuries. He is a good veteran presence who is an adequate swing tackle for the NFL.

Outlook

Clark is going to have to prepare like he is the week one starter with Brown set to back from his quad injury but with his status still up in the air. Clark will be the de facto starter until further notice and must be in top form when week one arrives. Teams will test him early to make sure that he is ready to go.

Roster Situation

On the 53-man roster; potential starter until Duane Brown is ready. Will be the swing tackle for the season.
