Anthony Denham is entering his third season with the Texans after his first two were cut short due to injuries. Denham has the athletic ability to contribute in the passing game, displaying that skill during camps and practices in the off-season. Built like a wide receiver, Denham has the chance to help at a tight end position.
Denham will be in direct competition with Stephen Anderson for the final spot as the F-tight end, the pass catching option. Denham is an athletic player and has above average hands; adding in the fact that he is able to to help on special teams, these attributes might give him a an advantage when it comes time to finding a spot on the team.
On the outside looking in, Denham will have to beat rookie Stephen Anderson for the final spot in the tight end depth chart.
