2016 Houston Texans Player Profile: Kendall Lamm

A closer look at the Houston Texans roster heading into the 2016 training camp.

The Rundown

The second year player out of Appalachian State, Kendall Lamm surprised plenty of people by making the 53-man roster out of training camp. Lamm worked both left and right tackle for the Texans during his rookie training camp. Lamm entered the season as the fourth offensive tackle but ended up being the swing tackle after injuries hit the offensive line. Lamm did majority of his work as tackle eligible but did fill in at right tackle in a pinch against the Tennessee Titans. The young offensive tackle showed ha can make it happen when given the opportunity.

Lamm won the coaches over last season with his strong hands and high upside. Still room to grown, Lamm held his own as a rookie that mad a big jump from his college career. He will instantly be considered as the swing tackle for the upcoming season due to the work he put in last season.
