2016 Houston Texans Player Profile: Arturo Uzadavinis

A closer look at the Houston Texans roster heading into the 2016 training camp.

The rookie free agent from Tulane, Arturo Uzadavinis passes the eye test at 6-7 and 305 lbs. A raw prospect that has plenty room to grow, the Texans landed him with the future in mind. With long arms (35 inches) and a 35-inch vertical, Uzdavinis has shown explosion with the numbers he posted during his pro day.

Uzdavinis is a developmental player and if he shows he can handle the NFL game, the Texans will find a way to keep him in the mix. Either on the practice squad or other means if necessary. Primarily working at right tackle, Uzdavinis has to hit the ground running when training camp arrives and show that he can handle the speed rushers coming off the edge in the NFL.

Roster Situation

Practice squad, but if Uzdavinis shows enough the Texans could get creative to keep him around.
