Brian Cushing Returns to Practice For The Houston Texans

Houston Texans inside linebacker Brian Cushing has returned to practice.

After sustaining a MCL injury in week one against the Chicago Bears, inside linebacker Brian Cushing returned to practice for the Houston Texans. Cushing's injury was slated to be a four to six week injury and this is considered the fourth week of that recovery.

Cushing was injured the first defensive drive for the Texans against the Bears taking a shot to his knee from from a teammate diving to make a tackle. He was not right for the rest of the series and was quickly pulled after the Bears scored on the opening drive.

That next week, Cushing was already back on the side fields working in a knee brace in rehab pushing to get back on the field. The possible return of Cushing this week will come at a decent time with the defense possibly losing J.J. Watt for the season.
