Houston Texans Sign Dan Pettinato To The Practice Squad

The Houston Texans sign Dan Pettinato to the practice squad.

The Houston Texans have brought back a familiar face in Dan Pettinato by signing him to the practice squad. Pettinato was on the Texans practice squad for the entire 2015 season after they signed him as a rookie free agent out of Arizona.

Pettinato had a strong showing during training camp and he took a step up in his play especially against the run. Pettinato appeared in all four games for the Texans this preseason and racked up six total tackles and a pass deflection. The Texans will continue to develop Pettinato for a bigger role possibly in the future.
