Houston Texans Workout Two Defensive Linemen

The Houston Texans worked out defensive lineman Kendall Reyes and Lars Koht on Tuesday.

The Houston Texans worked out two defensive lineman on Tuesday, Kendall Reyes and Lars Koht. The Texans run defense has been struggling to make a difference especially on the defensive line.

Kendall Reyes was drafted in 2012 in the 2nd round (49th overall) out of Connecticut. Reyes has spent time with the San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins over the past five seasons.

With the Chargers he appeared in 64 games starting 50 of those games. He totaled 83 tackles with 13.5 sacks, 4 pass deflections and an interception.

In 2016, Reyes spent time with Redskins appearing in two games and putting together three tackles.

Lars Koht (6-5, 279 lbs.) is a rookie out of Florida International and spent time with the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks. In four season with FIU, he totaled 60 tackles with 6.5 sacks.

The Texans will continue to workout players to find potential upgrades moving forward. It is unclear if the Texans will sign either of the defensive lineman.
