Texans Infirmary Report Heading Into their Matchup With the Detroit Lions

Infirmary Report for the Houston Texans with updates on Quintin Demps, Lamar Miller, Jadeveon Clowney and more.

Bill O’Brien gave his insight on the current health status for the Houston Texans heading into Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.

Lamar Miller is considered a game time decision after taking a late hit to his shoulder against the Denver Broncos.

“I would say that will be a game-time decision,” said O’Brien of Miller’s status. “I think he did a decent job this week, but I still think that’s going to be something that’ll be made sometime Sunday morning.”

Safety Corey Moore, who suffered a concussion against the Broncos, went through the protocol and is on schedule to play this Sunday.

“You know what, he practiced today, so I think that if he practiced and didn’t have any symptoms today, that he would be good to go and it didn’t look like he had any symptoms,” said O’Brien on Moore. “That’s kind of my opinion. Of course, I’m not an M.D. I’m just a coach.”

Starting safety Quintin Demps, who has been out for two weeks, is also expected to be a game time decision. Demps is dealing with a calf injury which he suffered against the Minnesota Vikings.

“I think that’s definitely in the Lamar Miller category of we’ll have to make a determination on Sunday,” said O’Brien of Demps.

Jadeveon Clowney is dealing with an elbow issue he sustained against the Broncos but he is not letting that stop him from making an appearance on the field.

“I’m good. I’ll be ready to go Sunday,” said Clowney.

Jonathan Grimes returned this week after missing close to a month with a cracked fibula. Also, Brian Peters has been ruled out with a quad injury, which will be his third missed game of the season.
