RaShuan Allen Signs with the Houston Texans

The Houston Texans have signed tight end RaShaun Allen to the practice squad.

The Houston Texans have started to shuffle their roster by signing tight end Rashaun Allen to the practice squad. Allen replaces Eric Tomlinson on the practice squad who was signed by the New York Jets this past weekend to their 53-man roster.

Allen (6-4, 250 lbs) is in his 2nd season out of Southern University after going undrafted in 2014. Allen has appeared in one NFL game with the Seattle Seahawks in 2014 and spent time on the New Orleans Saints active roster in 2015.

Allen has also spent time on the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers practice squads.

The Texans got a closer look at Allen during the preseason when they had joint practices with the Saints including a preseason game.
