Houston Texans start Jadeveon Clowney remaining in Houston

Defender's left wrist kept him out of practice this week.

The Houston Texans flew out on Saturday to face the Green Bay Packers but Jadeveon Clowney will be staying back according to sources. Clowney has been ruled out due to a wrist/elbow injury he has been dealing with for over a month.

Clowney's left wrist was casted for this week's practice and was listed as questionable for the entire week leading up to Sunday's game. With no Clowney, the Texans will have an even bigger task to slow down a Green Bay Packers offense that has been hitting its stride in recent weeks.

Clowney, on the season, has 41 tackles, 3 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and 11 quarterback hits. His 12 tackles for loss rank 3rd in the NFL.
