Braxton Miller Injury Comes at a Bad Time for the Houston Texans

Braxton Miller had his day cut short with a shoulder injury and now it could threaten his season.

Braxton Miller left the game against the Green Bay Packers with an apparent shoulder injury which knocked him out of the game. Miller missed an opportunity to haul in a pass on a crossing route and was slammed to the ground. Miller immediately clutched his right shoulder.

Miller was helped off by trainers and, while holding his left arm securely, they walked him directly into the locker room. Miller was spotted in the locker room with a sling on his arm and is scheduled to have an MRI when the team gets back to Houston.

With Miller sidelined with an injury that looks like it could threaten his availability for the season, changes may be coming to the wide receiver position. Keith Mumphery filled in for Miller for the remainder of the game Sunday and there is a possibility that Jaelen Strong will be returning soon from an ankle injury which he sustained over a month ago.
