Bill O'Brien Continues to Shoot Down Coaching Rumors on his Future with the Houston Texans

Bill O'Brien continued to address the rumors surrounding his future with the Houston Texans.

The rumors continue to flow concerning the future of head coach Bill O'Brien for the Houston Texans. Two days after owner Bob McNair said those allegations were completely "false" and O'Brien mentioning he has two years left on his current deal worth a total north of $10 million dollars.

“No, I don’t know where they get that from." explained McNair outside the Texans locker room after their playoff win over the Oakland Raiders. "There’s nothing to it. I’m not going to fire him. We are already talking about next year. Forget that. If I were you, I wouldn’t repeat it because it’s false.”

O'Brien for the second time this season addressed the speculation of his job and creating issues for his team while they prepare to travel to face the New England Patriots in the Divisional round of the playoffs.

"Absolutely not, there's no distraction," said O'Brien of the coaching rumors."I really enjoy coaching this team. It's a great place to work."

The Texans have addressed the rumors once again but the rumor mill keeps pumping during the most important game for the season.
