Jeremy Sprinkle and the Houston Texans Meet at the Senior Bowl

Houston Texans met with Arkansas tight end Jeremy Sprinkle at the Senior Bowl.

The Houston Texans continue to work on finding potential matches for their team moving forward and, at the Senior Bowl, they continue to look at prospects closer. Tight end Jeremy Sprinkle from Arkansas was met with the Texans along with most of the teams at the Senior Bowl. 

Sprinkle (6’5” and 256 lbs.) became Arkansas’ all time leader in receiving touchdowns by a tight end with 11 in 2016. Sprinkle started 11 of 12 game, missing one game due to an attempted shoplifting incident at the Belk Bowl. 
In 2016, Sprinkle had 33 receptions for 380 yards and 4 touchdowns, while 18 of his receptions resulted in a 1st down. For his career, Sprinkle had 71 receptions for 921 yards and 11 touchdowns with most of his production coming his final two seasons at Arkansas. 

The Texans are trying to have a plan in place if they opt not to resign Ryan Griffin, who is set to be an unrestricted free agent, this upcoming off-season.
