The Houston Texans Meet With South Alabama's Gerald Everett

The Houston Texans met with South Alabama tight end Gerald Everett at the Senior Bowl.

The Houston Texans continued to work on finding potential matches for their team moving forward and at the Senior Bowl they continue to look at prospects closer. The Texans have taken time out to find out more about the tight end group in Mobile, Alabama, and took a meeting with South Alabama tight end Gerald Everett

At 6’3" and 227 lbs., Everett had 49 receptions for 717 yards and four touchdowns on the 2016 season for Jaguars. Everett started his career at Alabama-Birmingham but transferred out due to the program shutting down their football program. In his three-year college career, Everett had 107 receptions for 1,584 yards and 8 touchdowns.

The Texans could be in the market for another tight end due to Ryan Griffin’s status as a free agent so representatives from the team are talking to every potential candidate who could make a difference for the team on the field.
