The Houston Texans continued to work on finding potential matches for their team at the Senior Bowl. To that end, the Texans met with Alabama defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson to get a closer look at the stout trench player.
Tomlinson racked up 62 total tackles with 5.5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, and 7 quarterback hits in 2016. The 6’3”, 312 lbs. defensive lineman finished his career with the Crimson Tide playing in 45 games, making 15 career starts. He recorded 122 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, 13 quarterback hurries, and 10 pass breakups.
The Texans defensive line needs some depth and playmakers. Tomlinson could be the type of player that the team needs. His experience in a pro style defense makes Tomlinson an NFL-ready prospect from day one.
