The Houston Texans have had a meeting with the top offensive tackle of the upcoming NFL Draft in Ryan Ramczyk. The Texans met with Ramczyk on Wednesday night which comes a little surprise with the offense looking for help at their offensive tackle depth.
Starting his career at Division III University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point, Ramczyk turned down offers from Wisconsin and Pittsburgh to attend a local technical school before heading to Wisconsin at Stevens Point to start his football career. After a successful stint, Ramczyk decided to transfer to Wisconsin starting a left tackle for the Badgers where he started every game notching Big Ten and All-American honors after the 2016 season.
Ramczyk highlights a weak offensive tackle group of prospects but is the clear cut top choice at the position for the 2017 class.
