The Houston Texans have a pre-draft visit set up with Old Dominion defensive tackle Rashaad Coward according to NFL Draft Diamonds. It is one of multiple visits that Coward has set up prior to the NFL Draft. It is one of the first visits known for the Texans this off-season and should not be overlooked. At Old Dominion in 2016 Coward appeared in 13 games and had 49 total tackles with 7.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and fumble recovery that resulted in a touchdown. His senior season performance resulted in 2nd team Conference USA honors.
Coward for his career appeared in 47 games amassing 136 total tackles, 14.5 tackles for loos and 3.35 sacks from his nose tackle position.
At 6-5 and 325 lbs., the Texans continue to look for youth for their defensive line, especially for the interior of the defensive line.
