Hunter Looking To Continue Strong Play

Justin Hunter came up big last week against the Saints.

For Justin Hunter it's all about consistency.

Possessing all the athletic ability necessary to be a star in the NFL, Hunter must make the leap from talent to consistent performer if the Titans are going to have any chance of out preforming the expert predictions of a last place finish withing the AFC South.

Following Thursday's practice, Hunter commented on the need for him to repeat and build on the New Orleans performance.

"I have to keep my confidence level where it is, stay focused when I'm tired and keep everything tight," summarized Hunter. "I've got to focus on the game."

"They stay on me about that (consistency) and it's my job to keep it going, I can't falter in the game," continued Hunter. "I just have to keep going forward and everything."

Hunter knows he will be facing the Falcons best on Saturday night longer than he did in either of the first two games.

"They got pretty good corners and and everything," concluded Hunter. "One of my friends is one of the corners (Robert Alford) and we've been talking back and forth and he's been talking smack and everything so it will be interesting to see how that's going to go."

Hunter had his way with the Falcons secondary in the joint practice earlier this preseason, and it is likely that the Falcons defensive secondary will remember that and want to slow down Hunter after watching his performance last week in New Orleans.
