Rookie quarterback leads the NFL in passer rating in road games while tossing 10 TD's and no interceptions on the road.

Marcus Mariota in leading the NFL, including Brady, Manning and Rodgers in one category that might surprise many people.

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota  hopes to continue the early success he has had in his career on the road. His starting record is 2-1 in three road games, in which he is 62-of-91 passing for 837 yards with 10 touchdowns and no interceptions.

Mariota’s rookie road trips include a pair of four-touchdown, zero-interception performances, first at Tampa Bay on Sept. 13 and most recently at New Orleans on Nov. 8. He became the first rookie in NFL history with two such games.

Mariota’s passer rating of 133.8 in road contests leads the NFL and is 23 points higher than the second-ranked quarterback, Buffalo’s Tyrod Taylor (110.8).

Nick Foles owns the NFL record for single-season passer rating on the road, finishing the 2013 campaign at 138.4. If the season ended today, Mariota’s road passer rating would rank second.
