When the Tennessee Titans take the field Sunday at Met Life Stadium to face the New York Jets, they will face one of the toughest defenses in the NFL and a team with an improving offense with Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback along with running back Chris Ivory and wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
It will be a tough challenge to go into the Big Apple and win, but especially considering the Jets defense, lead by rookie Leonard Williams and cornerback Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie who along with their other defensive mates have been tough on opponents offnese.
The Titans revamped offensive line with rookie undrafted free-agent Quinton Spain at left guard along with left tackle Taylor Lewan and rookie center Andy Gallik have played well of late Likewise, both Byron Bell and Chance Warmack have been solid as the unit has cut down on penalties, sacks allowed and seems to be finding some footing in the run game.
Still the challenge of the Jets front seven is formidable and will test the Titans who must try to keep pressure off quarterback Marcus Mariota who had a nice day one week ago in the win over Jacksonville.
Can the Titans make it two game in a row and start a winning streak or will Gang Green be too much?
We examine that and give our prediction in the above video.
