Walker leads NFL in plays over fifty yards among NFL tight ends in the last three seasons.

Delanie Walker is a big play tight end, which makes him a true weapon when a tight end can score from anywhere on the field. Walker was snubbed by Pro-Bowl voters this week, but was named the first alternate. Here's a stat that proves he should have been in the game and not just an alternate.

Last week against New England, Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker took a pass from Zach Mettenberger 57 yards for a touchdown. The play was Walker’s fourth reception of at least 50 yards since joining the Titans in 2013.

No tight end in the NFL has as many receptions of 50-plus yards as Walker over the last three seasons. His four 50-yard catches are more than Rob Gronkowski, Vernon Davis and Jordan Cameron, who each have three in that timespan. Jimmy Graham is next on the list with two.

In addition to his touchdown against the Patriots, Walker’s 50-yard receptions with the Titans also include a 61-yard touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 14, 2014, a 68-yard reception at the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 23, 2014, and a 61-yard touchdown at the New Orleans Saints on Nov. 8, 2015.

Tight ends with the most 50-yard receptions from 2013–2015:
