Veteran tight end signed to a one-year deal with Titans.

Craig Stevens has resigned with the Tennessee Titans.

The Tennessee Titans and veteran tight end Craig Stevens have agreed to a one-year contract that will bring Stevens back to the Titans for a ninth season,

A third-round draft pick by the Titans from the University of California in 2008, Stevens has developed into one of the best blocking tight ends in the NFL, and while his production as a receiver has been less that impressive, Stevens is a very capable pass catcher who is a valuable addition to the offense.

The signing was announced by Titans general mamanger Jon Robinson on Thirsday night during an appearance at a dinner for Titans season ticket holders inside the grand ballroom of the Music City Center.

Stevens now becomes the longest tenured member of the Titans roster.
