According to a Twitter report by NFLNetwork's Ian Rappaport, free-agent cornerback Brice McCain is visiting the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday.
Released in early February by the MIami Dolphins, McCain is a street free-agent and as such cna visit and sign with any team of his choosing before the start of thelegal tampering and free-agency period next Monday and Tuesday.
McCain has started 30 games during his seven NFL seasons, including 12 with the Dolphins last season. McCain spent five seasons with Houston and one with Pittsburgh before last season in Miami.
Coty Sensabaugh is a free-agent to be and the Titans are in need of depth at the position. McCain would not be a starter with both Jason McCourty and Perrish Cox expected to start, and he could be a replacement for Sensabaugh and an upgrade over Blidi Wreh-Wilson who saw limited action late last season.
Should the Titans sign McCain, it would not appear to be any indication of the direction the team might be leaning in the upcoming NFL Draft where they hold the top pick and could be considering adding a cornerback in Jalen Ramsey in the first round.
