The former Texans center will sign a 4-year deal with the Titans on Wednesday when free agency begins.

The Tennessee Titans have added a veteran center/guard to their roster in free agency with the expected signing of former Texans lineman Ben Jones.

According to our Scout partners at StateOfTheTexans.com Patrick D. Starr, the Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a four-year contract with former Texans center/guard Ben Jones.

A fourth-round pick in the 2012 NFL draft  out of the University of Georgia, He is a durable player, having  played in every game over his four year NFL career. He was the Texans starter at left guard in 2014 and starter at center in 2015.

Terms of the deal were not announced, and Jones will join the Titans where he will likely compete for the starting position at center along with Brian Schwenke and second year pro Andy Gallik

Jones could also be the answer to fill the opening at left guard for the Titans along with Jeremiah Poutasi and Quinton Spain.
