Woods and the Titans agreed to terms on an new 3-year deal late Friday night to return the nose tackle to the Titans.

The Tennessee Titans have agreed on a new 3-year deal with veteran nose tackle Al Woods to bring him back to the Titans.

According to his agent at Atlanta based  SportsTrust Advisors, Al Woods has agreed to terms on a new 3-year contract to return to the Tennessee Titans.

Woods was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fourth round (123rd overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year contract on July 15, 2010] but was released in September 2010. He was signed to the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad that same month and  was signed off the Steelers' practice squad by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in November.2010. He was cut on September 3, 2011. After a short stint in Seattle, Woods was claimed him off of waivers on November 2011 by the Sttelers where he played in three games during the 2012 season and 16 games in 2013. 

He signed with Tennessee as a free-agent in 2014 and spent the last two season with Titans.

Financial terms of the new 3-year  deal were not disclosed,
