Things appear to be heating up for the Tennessee Titans in regard to trading the top overall selection in this month's NFL draft.

According to a report by Peter King of MMQB.com, the Titans are receiving "significant interest" in trading for the first overall pick. King went on to say he places the odds of the Titans being able to trade the pick at "50/50."

Any interest from teams is thought to be in an attempt to trade up for the rights to draft either quarterback Jared Goff or Carson Wentz. There could also be interest from a team to trade up for another player.

In speaking with league sources with knowledge of league happenings, there have been no less than five teams who have inquired with general manager Jon Robinson and the Titans about the possibility of trading for the top pick.

Things are definitely going to be interesting between now and April 28 when the draft kicks off in Chicago and if King and my sources are correct and the interest continues to grow, the Titans could indeed be able to trade the pick and gain some amount of additional selections in return.

The biggest question to be considered by other teams is just what a "king's ransom" amounts too for Robinson.
