The Titans traded back up into round five to select Souther Utah corner LeShaun Sims.

The Titans have filled their need at corner with the addition of Southern Utah's LeShaun Sims after trading back up into the fifth round.

The Tennessee Titans made their third trade of the 2016 NFL Draft on Saturday, when they traded back up into the fifth round to select Southern Utah cornerback LeShaun Sims.

The Titans were in need of help at corner and Sims brings good size, (6'0" 203 with 31 3'4 arms) and speed, having been verified at 4.41 in the forty at Southern Utah. His number was not as good (4.53) at the combine, but he was dealing with a leg injury at the time.

Sims was asked about his knowledge of the Titans and NFL, and admitted that he is not a big follower of the league.

However, he feels he has the ability to  play at this level.

"Of course there is going to be a learning curve, just like anything else," said Sims. "I'm just ready to come in and learn everything I can so I can contribute to the team anyway I can."

Asked about his strengths as a corner, Sims shared his thoughts on his game.

"I think just being competitive, my size and my atthleticism I'd say are my biggest strenghts, " said Sims.
