The Tennessee Titans and their first round pick, the eighth overall selection Jack Conklin have agreed to terms on a rookie contract.

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a contract with their first round pick, offensive tackle Jack Conklin.

Conklin, a former walk-on at Michigan State went on to earn All-American honors in his final season with Spartans. A three-years starter, Conklin started 38 games during his college career and helped lead his team to a Big Ten title and berth in the College Football Playoff in his final year.

Conklin is projected to become the starter at right tackle for the Titans, though he saw some work at left tackle during the Titans recent rookie mini-camp. However, it is most likely that he will begin this weeks OTA's (organized team activities) on the right side with Taylor Lewan at left tackle in the Titans revamped offensive line.

Those OTA's will be open to the media on Tuesday and Thursday as the Titans will have their entire 2016 roster, both rookie s and veterans on the field together for the first time this week.

According to sources, though unconfirmed at this time, the deal is for 4 years, with a 5th year option worth  $15,897,658 million and $9,761,932 million signing bonus.

The team has now reached agreement with eight of their 10 picks with only second-round pick  outside linebacker Kevin Dodd and third-round pick, safety Kevin Byard as the two remaining players left unsigned.
