DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry put on a show for the fans at Nissan Stadium in their first game together in a Tennessee Titans uniform.

It was a first half that should have made even Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Mularkey smile as his "exotic smash-mouth offense" did just that to the visiting San Diego Chargers on Saturday night inside Nissan Stadium.

The running back tandem of DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry dominated the Chargers through the first two quarters as the Titans pounded out 18 rushes for 179 yards and two touchdowns,

Murray provided the biggest play of the first half when he took a Marcus Mariota handoff, bounced left and found the edge  and was off to the races for a 71 yard touchdown. He would end his night with just 6 carries for 93 yards and that touchdown.

When Murray gave way to his rookie partner the Titans run game kept right on going as Henry would carry the football 10 times for 74 yards and score of his own as the Titans built a 17-10 halftime advantage.

Neither player will see action in the second half as Antonio Andrews and Bishop Sankey will work the final two quarters.
