|How Acquired: Signed a futures contract with the Vikings at the end of 2008 season for the 2009 season. Spent 2007 and 2008 with the Edmonton Eskimos in the Canadian Football League.
2010: For the second straight season since joining the Vikings, played in all 16 games. Finished tied for third on the team with 10 special-teams tackles, nine of them solo tackles. Saw limited action with the Vikings defense and had one tackle.
2009: Tied for the team lead with 24 tackles on special teams. Recorded three special teams tackles in a game on three different occasions in the regular season and was held without a tackle in only two games. Recovered a fumbled punt return against the Saints in the NFC Championship. Was active for every game.
2008: With the Edmonton Eskimos, made 60 tackles in 14 games and eight on special teams. Started 12 games in the Eskimos’ 18-game season.
2007: Played in 10 games for the Eskimos, mainly on special teams, where he had four tackles. Registered eight tackles on defense.
College: Earned Division II All-America honors as a junior and senior by CollegeSportsReport.com. Recorded 324 tackles over four seasons, fifth in Nebraska-Omaha history. Earned All-North Central Conference honors each of his four seasons and won the team’s Most Outstanding Linebacker award in 2005 and was the defensive MVP in 2006.
High School: Set the Papillon North (Neb.) High School all-time single-game rushing record with a 326-yard performance. Rushed for 1,500 yards and scored 16 touchdowns as a senior, earning second-team all-state honors.
