Bio: Four-year starter at both defensive tackle and defensive end. All-Conference choice as a senior registering 61 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 7 sacks after 36/11/5 the prior year.

Pos: Terrific front-four prospect soaring up draft boards. Athletic and explosive; gets off the ball with a tremendous first step, breaks down well and keeps his feet driving up the field. Effectively redirects to the action, immediately alters his angle of attack and strings plays out laterally. Defeats double teams, collapsing the pocket yet also displays a good head for the ball with the ability to quickly locate the action. Offers both a good arm over and spin move.

Neg: Plays upright at times and makes himself an easy target for opponents. Must do a better job using hand technique to protect himself.

Analysis: Consistent producer throughout college whose play has improved every season. Capped off a terrific senior campaign with jaw-dropping performances during Senior Bowl week that left every scout impressed. Went from a marginal first-round choice to a possible top-12 pick based on his play in Mobile.
