Vikings quarterbacks were the main attraction Tuesday at the IMG Madden Football Academy.
Rookie Christian Ponder organized a group of Vikings to get together for workouts at the Bradenton, Fla. training facility. Only seven Vikings showed Tuesday for the workouts, but players were expecting at least Bernard Berrian to join receiver Greg Camarillo and Emmanuel Arceneaux on Wednesday. There was also hope at the beginning of the week that TE Visanthe Shiancoe and receivers Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin might join, but that seemed like a fading hope, according to a few players Tuesday.
Players started the morning out with stretching and agility drills, following by a long session in the weight room. After lunch, they went through a film session to learn some of Bill Musgrave's offense and then went through an installation period on the field in the afternoon.
Below are videos of a few throws from the afternoon session, followed by clips of the weight-room training.
