Vikings cornerback Chris Cook suffered a broken wrist in the Vikings' 36-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Thursday night.
Cook left the field holding his wrist during Tampa Bay's first possession of the second half and went to the locker room for X-rays. Leslie Frazier said after the game the wrist was broken.
"We'll see where things are," Frazier said. "I would imagine with a broken wrist (he'll be out for an extended period). Sometimes you can cast it. I don't know enough yet."
Cook entered the game with 27 tackles, a sack and a team-leading 11 passes defensed. He was credited with three tackles Thursday night before leaving the game.
