The Vikings have signed their top two picks in the 2014 draft, LB Anthony Barr and QB Teddy Bridgewater, to four-year contracts with a fifth-year option.
Barr was expected to receive a signing bonus of $7.58 million and a total contract worth about $12.74 million, according to the numbers slotted for all draft picks. According to NFL.com, Barr, the ninth overall pick, is only the second pick in the top 10 to be signed. ESPN reported that the entire four years of the contract is guaranteed.
Bridgewater was the final pick of the first round and was expected to receive a signing bonus of $3.3 million on a four-year deal worth a total of $6.85 million.
The team also agreed to terms with seventh-round picks Shamar Stephen, a defensive tackle, and Brandon Watts, a linebacker, on Tuesday. Stephen was expected to sign a four-year deal worth a total of $2.29 million with a signing bonus just north of $65,000. Watt's deal should be worth about $2.28 million with a signing bonus just above $62,000.
That means the Vikings now have seven of their 10 draft picks signed.
Last week, they signed fifth-round pick David Yankey to a four-year, $2.43 million contract and seventh-round picks Kendall James (sixth round) and Jabari Price (seventh round) to four-year contracts.
The remaining unsigned draft picks for the Vikings are DE Scott Crichton (third round), RB Jerick McKinnon (third round) and S Antone Exum (sixth round).
