The Minnesota Vikings say they’re looking into the arrest of a rookie cornerback on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving.
Jabari Price was arrested early Monday and booked into Hennepin County Jail. He was released a few hours later. KSTP-TV reported Friday the 22-year-old player has a court appearance set for Feb. 9.
Vikings spokesman Jeff Anderson said team officials are aware of the incident and withholding comment as they delve into the matter.
Price was drafted out of the University of North Carolina last spring in the seventh round. He had limited playing time for Minnesota this year but had 10 tackles.
